PR Logo Only-100CBD, or cannabidiol, is the most abundant non-psychoactive phytocannabinoid found in the genus Cannabis, to which both marijuana and industrial hemp belong. It is a naturally occurring compound that mimics the structure of endocannabinoids found in our bodies.

PR Logo Only-100Clinical studies suggest there are a large number of illnesses and conditions that CBD could be used for in treatment programs. CBD contains anti-inflammatory properties which may be beneficial to arthritis sufferers. The analgesic or pain relieving effects have a broad application helping people suffering from a number of ailments from chronic pain to migraines. CBD may also be used to treat anxiety, PTSD, MS, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Cancer. Patients undergoing chemotherapy may find relief from anti-nausea effects. In addition, CBD may be helpful in combating the negative side effects brought on by prescription drugs or treatments such as chemotherapy.

CBD also relieves anxiety, while higher doses of THC can induce anxiety in some patients.  Both THC and CBD, however, provide distinct medicinal benefits and they can work alone or in tandem within the body.

PR Logo Only-100This is a question best answered by your Cannabis Physician. We cannot endorse a specific amount, but instead recommend to start with a small amount and wait an hour or two before increasing the dosage. Some people are more sensitive than others. CBD is non-toxic, so there is no risk of overdose. The Pure Ratios patches are designed to last up to 96 hours.

Just note the time and evaluate your symptom(s) from 1-10. Do this at set intervals, like every 30 minutes. If your symptoms maintain their levels, slowly increase the dosage until you experience relief.

PR Logo Only-100Place the patch on a clean and dry area of skin close to, or on top of, the pain site. Use the included alcohol swab to cleanse skin prior to application. Patch adheres best to an area of minimal hair and little flexion. For example, if you have pain in your knee, apply the patch above or below the knee joint for best adhesion.

PR Logo Only-100The most common tests are urine, hair, and saliva. Urine testing is favored by employers and detects THCA at levels over 50 ng/mL, but can easily give a false positive from other drugs like ibuprofen or naproxen. Hair testing detects THC in quantities as low as 1 pg/mg (and is less likely to give a false positive), but the test is more expensive and time consuming. Onsite saliva testing, which also looks for THC, can be found at levels over 50 ng/mL, but must be done within 12 hours of administration of the THC.

PR Logo Only-100CO2 extraction is a process that separates and purifies plant matter into individual components using supercritical carbon dioxide as the solvent. Historically, it’s been used to decaffeinate coffee beans or create herbal extractions for essential oil blends (which are often found in beauty products and potpourri). In the case of cannabis, this type of extraction is used to separate the cannabinoids from the other plant constituents into different fractions. This process does not require the use of dangerous, volatile solvents like butane to extract the desired cannabinoids.
